Posture Information | Exercises To Correct Posture

Sometimes people wonder why you can't brace your way into better posture like you do your teeth. You're probably familiar with the idea of how braces on teeth work. They start out in one position, periodically the braces are tightened until your teeth are where they need to be.

Then you wear a retainer to keep all the correction in place that you've gained. When making changes to the spine and your posture, it's usually necessary to get spinal adjustment (depending on the problem) and perform exercises to correct posture.

The difference between teeth and your spine is that the spine has the muscles that hold everything in place. Keep the spine in a brace for too long and the muscles get weak.

Take the brace off and your muscles are weak and smaller. Exercises to correct posture become necessary to help hold the spine in place and maintain the correction that you so desperately want.

The trick with making a change with exercise is consistently. Wearing a brace gives you the appearance of better posture instantly. Making a lasting change takes time, but you can notice a big difference in days with consistent effort.

Taking the time to fix your posture problem is worth the effort.

"Got Great Results In Just 2 Weeks!"

Having great success using the lower back exercises from Dr. Cordova's Posture Confidence DVD, I didn't hesitate to try her exercises for the neck.

I wasn't disappointed! After 2 weeks, my neck and shoulders began to feel and look better. I also found the ebook very informative and easy to read. It's a good reference to have!

Thank you!

Pain Relief From Neck And Back Problems "With Little Effort"!

"Dr. Cordova, I have just read your book and find it to be very 'eye opening'.

My job typically has long hours and requires international air travel. Both require that I sit in the same position for long periods of time. Without even knowing what happened, I found that my shoulders were rounding, my neck would ache, my head would ache, and my back felt like it was “going out”. On the airplane, I struggle for comfort and work myself into remarkable positions.

After reading your book, I find that -- with very little effort -- I can perform your recommended exercises and relieve this pain. I thought that the pain resulting from these activities was something I had to live with. Your book has taught me that this is not true.

Thank you very much for revealing this wisdom. I feel better already."
